We are talking down in the dumps, depressed, I'm going to give
it all up, what's the point of being a Christian.
That is the condition of the person that you have just fallen
into conversation with, you now bring out the big guns the one
truth that will knock the devil back on his heals and be a major
weapon in this young Christians arsenal for the rest of their
lives.

I have actually "been there". I couldn't do it in "one-
sentance' I don't think.
< I first prayed and broke the hold of the depressive spirit.
Then told them DON'T even try to get any 'feeling' of anything
"being worth it". Giving up is the best thing you can do. Don't
try to pray, don't try to read the bible...jus sit , think of
God as Father, and feel His arms around you loving you....and
say " Thank You Jesus." And after a week of this you will know
His love and feel His presence. It is not what you do...but what
He has done. >

That was good Helen, I never meant it to just be a short
sentence. Lets face it some of Paul's sentences go on for a
whole chapter.
I started this thread to get some idea of the convictions people
hold as fundamental truth to get the job done.
It could also be a big help for any new Christian (reading) that
did not sit under the teaching and wisdom that we did Helen.
