1 Peter 1:3-5
KJV 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again
unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the
dead, 4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that
fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 Who are kept by
the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be
revealed in the last time.
WEB 3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
who according to his great mercy caused us to be born again to a
living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the
dead, 4 to an incorruptible and undefiled inheritance that
doesn’t fade away, reserved in Heaven for you, 5 who by the
power of God are guarded through faith for a salvation ready to
be revealed in the last time.
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
3 We are blessed by Jesus and we are to live as a blessing to
Him by following Him. We need both His mercy and grace without
them we can’t stand in His presence. Jesus died and rose from
the dead and because of Him we can die to this life and live
thru Him anew.
4 We have great things to come thru the Lord. We have much more
then what we see; we now have the Spirit and know true life thru
Him.
5 Who He is will be revealed to all and for us who have accepted
Him for who He is are saved and will be praising Him that day
and forevermore.
