       Micah 1:11-13
KJV 11 Pass ye away, thou inhabitant of Saphir, having thy shame
naked: the inhabitant of Zaanan came not forth in the mourning
of Bethezel; he shall receive of you his standing. 12 For the
inhabitant of Maroth waited carefully for good: but evil came
down from the LORD unto the gate of Jerusalem. 13 O thou
inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she
is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the
transgressions of Israel were found in thee.
WEB 11 Pass on, inhabitant of Shaphir, in nakedness and shame.
The inhabitant of Zaanan won’t come out. The wailing of Beth
Ezel will take from you his protection. 12 For the inhabitant of
Maroth waits anxiously for good, because evil has come down from
Yahweh to the gate of Jerusalem. 13 Harness the chariot to the
swift steed, inhabitant of Lachish. She was the beginning of sin
to the daughter of Zion; For the transgressions of Israel were
       found in you.
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
11 Nakedness is seen as shame and humiliation. They were no
longer going to be protected. God’s protection is something we
need and we need Him to cloth us with His righteousness but
because they were going there own way they had lost favor with
the Lord. We don’t want this to happen to us.
12 We should serve the Lord waiting for Him to use us doing more
good, trusting that He brings good out of everything we do and
       go thru for Him.
13 This is where it started; those who mislead groups away from
the Lord will face more of judgment and have to answer for this.
