James 5:7-8
KJV 7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the
Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of
the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the
early and latter rain. 8Be ye also patient; stablish your
hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.
WEB 7 Be patient therefore, brothers, until the coming of the
Lord. Behold, the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the
earth, being patient over it, until it receives the early and
late rain. 8 You also be patient. Establish your hearts, for the
coming of the Lord is at hand.
These are my thoughts, please share yours.
7 The life has so much trouble; if we can’t overcome then we
will be overtaken. We have to be able to be longsuffering
otherwise we won’t be able to grow much for and be used for much
by Him. We have to patiently wait on Him coming back but during
the time we are to serve and proclaim Him. We have to understand
that God is waiting for that last soul. If we want Jesus to
return then we should be sharing Him with others like He asked
us to.
8 We are to have faith that He will return, its easy over time
to lose faith but we are to let the time only grow our faith in
a loving Lord.
