James 3:7-9 King James Version (KJV)
7 For every kind of beasts, and of birds, and of serpents, and
of things in the sea, is tamed, and hath been tamed of mankind:
8 But the tongue can no man tame; it is an unruly evil, full of
deadly poison.
9 Therewith bless we God, even the Father; and therewith curse
we men, which are made after the similitude of God.
James 3:7-9 International Children’s Bible (ICB)
7 People can tame every kind of wild animal, bird, reptile, and
fish, and they have tamed them. 8 But no one can tame the
tongue. It is wild and evil. It is full of poison that can kill.
9 We use our tongues to praise our Lord and Father, but then we
curse people. And God made them like himself.

7 Most animals can be trained by man; God has given man this
authority.
8-9 The tongue can be wilder then any animal, it hard to control
what we say, it comes thru submission to the Lord. The tongue
can harm and destroy others it can spread lies and hate but thru
Jesus the tongue can be used for holy reasons.
