       Ruth 3:17-18King James Version (KJV)
17 And she said, These six measures of barley gave he me; for he
said to me, Go not empty unto thy mother in law.
18 Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how
the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he
have finished the thing this day.
       Ruth 3:17-18New Life Version (NLV)
17 She said, “He gave me these six jars full of grain. For he
said, ‘Do not go to your mother-in-law with empty hands.’” 18
Naomi said, “Wait until you know what is going to happen, my
daughter. For the man will not rest until the thing is decided
       upon today.”

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
17 Ruth and Naomi both knew this was generous. Boaz showed he
could provide which is very important for her because both were
widows that needed to be cared for. How generous do we live?
18 Boaz was going to try to get permission to marry her and
Naomi knew that, sometimes we just have to wait.
