       James 2:14-17

       James 2:14-17 King James Version (KJV)
       14 What doth it profit, my brethren, though a man say he hath
       faith, and have not works? can faith save him?
       15 If a brother or sister be naked, and destitute of daily food,
       16 And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed
       and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which
       are needful to the body; what doth it profit?
       17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.

       Faith Without Works Is Dead
       14 My Christian brothers, what good does it do if you say you
       have faith but do not do things that prove you have faith? Can
       that kind of faith save you from the punishment of sin?15 What
       if a Christian does not have clothes or food? 16 And one of you
       says to him, “Goodbye, keep yourself warm and eat well.” But if
       you do not give him what he needs, how does that help him? 17 A
       faith that does not do things is a dead faith.

       These are my thoughts, please share yours.
       14 Our faith is meant to do works. Faith that does nothing isn’t
       good faith, if we have faith but it has caused a change in our
       life then its nothing but false security.
       15 Basics needs are housing clothes food water we may come into
       contact with people who need. We are to help them if we can.
       16 They turn away someone in need when they have ability to help
       this shows no love whatsoever, this isn’t saying that we help
       those who aren’t willing to work because of laziness or those
       who need food but would rather have money for beer then eat,
       this is saying we have to be foolish with those we help but
       means we help those who truly need help.
       17 Faith needs works without works faith shows nothing without
       the works faith don’t show Jesus and without Him it is dead.
