1 Kings 7:9 King James Version (KJV)
9 All these were of costly stones, according to the measures of
hewed stones, sawed with saws, within and without, even from the
foundation unto the coping, and so on the outside toward the
great court.
1 Kings 7:9 New Life Version (NLV)
9 All these were made with stones of much worth, each one cut to
be put into place. They were cut with saws, inside and outside,
from the very base to the top of the roof, and from the outside
to the largest room.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
Stone is almost permanent; it can with stand great heat and most
weather. These stones were valuable stones maybe marble. This is
similar to the stones of the temple. Did we focus on building
our lives here on earth or do we focus more on using our lives
here for His glory in heaven, Solomon’s focus started to become
about his life rather then serving the Lord, we should not make
his error with our lives.
