1 Kings 6:7-8 King James Version (KJV)
7 And the house, when it was in building, was built of stone
made ready before it was brought thither: so that there was
neither hammer nor axe nor any tool of iron heard in the house,
while it was in building.
8 The door for the middle chamber was in the right side of the
house: and they went up with winding stairs into the middle
chamber, and out of the middle into the third.
1 Kings 6:7-8 New Life Version (NLV)
7 The house was built of stone that was cut at the place where
it was taken from the ground. There was no noise of a hammer or
an ax or any iron object heard in the house while it was being
built. 8 The door for the first floor room was on the right side
of the house. They would go up steps to the second floor, and
from the second to the third.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
7 Stone often times could not be broken and it lasted. The
stones he used were those that were the ground rather then in
the side of a mountain which shows that these stones have been
prone to handle the weather. No sound could have been something
that described how big this building was. God house was built on
solid ground but it was not the stone it was on the faith for
Him.
8 Each floor of his house had a separate entrance, which is not
common today this shows that this temple was special, it was
God’s house not everyone was allowed to go everywhere.
