1 Kings 6:37-38 King James Version (KJV)
37 In the fourth year was the foundation of the house of the
LORD laid, in the month Zif:
38 And in the eleventh year, in the month Bul, which is the
eighth month, was the house finished throughout all the parts
thereof, and according to all the fashion of it. So was he seven
years in building it.

37 In the fourth year the base of the house was laid in the
month of Ziv.38 In the eleventh year, in the month of Bul, the
eighth month, all the parts of the house were finished just as
all the plans had been made. Solomon took seven years to build
it.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
37 The base was laid which meant a turn the house would be a
place and no longer somewhere that could move this meant they
had the land and was not threaten to lose it.
38 It took seven years to build it a building this large and
detailed the building went quick because of the money Solomon
put into it. Solomon gave what was needed to be given to make
sure the temple was built quick but also built right, often we
forget one if we work fast we miss things but if we are detailed
then things go slower but Solomon did it right thru the Lord.
