1 Kings 6:29-30 King James Version (KJV)
29 And he carved all the walls of the house round about with
carved figures of cherubims and palm trees and open flowers,
within and without.
30 And the floors of the house he overlaid with gold, within and
without.
1 Kings 6:29-30 New Life Version (NLV)
29 Then he cut pictures in all the walls around the house to
look like cherubim, palm trees and open flowers, in the center
room and the most holy place. 30 He covered the floor of the
house with gold, in the center room and the most holy place.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
29 Stone cutting was an art form that was done on the most
precious buildings. Angels being put on this wall showed that
this was a place of worship, palm trees and flowers shown
growth, this building were used to build a relationship with the
Lord. We are to build a relationship with the Lord and grow that
relationship but we are not limited to do it within one
building.
30 Gold was precious for them to walk on gold shows that
compared to the Lord it is nothing a relationship with Him more
valuable than gold, in heaven the streets are paved with gold.
