       1 Kings 6:23-26

       1 Kings 6:23-26 King James Version (KJV)
       23 And within the oracle he made two cherubims of olive tree,
       each ten cubits high.
       24 And five cubits was the one wing of the cherub, and five
       cubits the other wing of the cherub: from the uttermost part of
       the one wing unto the uttermost part of the other were ten
       cubits.
       25 And the other cherub was ten cubits: both the cherubims were
       of one measure and one size.
       26 The height of the one cherub was ten cubits, and so was it of
       the other cherub.

       23 In the most holy place he made two cherubim of olive wood.
       Each one was almost three times taller than a man.24 One wing of
       the cherub was as long as three steps. And the other wing of the
       cherub was as long as three steps. It was as far as five long
       steps from the end of one wing to the end of the other wing. 25
       It was as much as five long steps between the ends of the wings
       of the other cherub also. Both the cherubim were the same
       height, length and width, and they looked alike. 26 Each of the
       cherubim was almost three times taller than a man.

       These are my thoughts, please share yours.
       23 Cherubim were guardian angels who protected the things of the
       Lord there were protection the way to the tree of life with in
       the Garden of Eden they were on the Ark of the Covenant. Olive
       wood was a type of tree common with the area.
       24-25 These angels are much bigger than man but God is so much
       bigger but He is also made a way for us to come to Him thru
       Christ. Angels were seen as to be bigger but when they came to
       man they often appeared as a man.
       26 These is not referring to that actually angel but the statue
       made it is possible that angels could be this big but also
       likely that they look like us.
