Galatians 1:6-10 King James Version (KJV)
6 I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you
into the grace of Christ unto another gospel:
7 Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and
would pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other
gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let
him be accursed.
9 As we said before, so say I now again, if any man preach any
other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be
accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please
men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of
Christ.

Men Must Not Change the Good News
6 I am surprised you are leaving Christ so soon. You were chosen
through His loving-favor. But now you are turning and listening
to another kind of good news. 7 No! There is not another kind of
good news. There are some who would like to lead you in the
wrong way. They want to change the Good News about Christ. 8
Even if we or an angel from heaven should preach another kind of
good news to you that is not the one we preached, let him be
cursed. 9 As we said before, I will say it again. If any man is
preaching another good news to you which is not the one you have
received, let him be cursed.
This Good News Is from God
10 Do you think I am trying to get the favor of men, or of God?
If I were still trying to please men, I would not be a servant
owned by Christ.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.
6 The world teaches and accepts many different things but the is
only one faith that saves and it comes thru Jesus being our Lord
and the word is the bible the words God wanted to give to us so
we can grow closer to Him. Paul does not mention why they went
away from the truth but during the earlier church they dealt
with those who said to have Christ you had to keep the law and
then later there was the early Gnostic movement. Today’s time
there are very many different teaching out there and we should
not allow them to come into the church and more important we
should not allow them to come into our hearts.
7 These people were claiming to come in Jesus name bringing a
message but the message they gave was not His the Jehovah
Witnesses and Mormons do this today as well as other groups that
are not as well known such as Christian Science and Christian
Identity and they are others as well. The Devil wants those that
have come to Christ to be lead astray so they can not serve the
Lord and these groups also keep people from the truth. Today’s
groups are now doing away with how they see sin and changing
scriptures to fit what they believe but the scriptures are to
change how we see things change how we believe, we are to see
the world thru scripture not allow the world to change how we
view scripture.
8 Interesting enough this is how both the Muslims and Mormon
teach that they received what they call truth. This shows that
no matter who give us a different gospel we stay to the truth.
They are angels that fell with Satan called demons and they can
give messages to people, Paul is aware of this so Paul is
telling them because God does not change if they tell you
something that is not in line with scripture then their message
is not from the Lord.
9 Today there are those that teach thru the Lord we can receive
blessing here on earth, this is not biblical. Paul served the
Lord more than any of us but he was not rich often times
believers gave up their riches to serve the Lord. Having wealth
can be a burden to us from being fully committed to the Lord.
Today people are trying to change scriptures because they don’t
like what it says to make the scripture closer to the original
meaning is good but the trouble makers change it so their sins
are not wrong, they do not have the Holy Spirit and just follow
religion because they would receive conviction if they had the
Spirit.
10 Sometimes the way people to teach is so they can win favor
with men rather then God this often times is self motivated.
More people often times more influence and more money and
without them following God these are often what motivate them.
We are to follow the Lord and have His favor first and let Him
handle our favor with men, it is better for a man to preach
truth of the word thru the Spirit to ten people then for him to
preach lies to ten thousands.
