Another Gospel ?

Christians are not really aware that the big mistake and gross
presumption is that they presently have the original really
really good news[gospel] whereas what they really have is a
pale, watered down, mixed up, messed up, mashed up, diluted,
subtracted from versions of the original - the original really
really good news was sent by God via His choir of angels and was
simply instantly received and accepted as glad tidings of great
joy one Christmas day long long ago - I hope to renew and
restore it in its pristine original with the hope that it will
once again be instantly received and accepted - twinc

presumption is that they presently have the original really
really good news[gospel] whereas what they really have is a

Let's see how you do.
the original really really good news was sent by God via
His choir of angels and was simply instantly received and
accepted as glad tidings of great joy one Christmas day long
long ago -
My Bible says the shepherds were "sore afraid"
at first. It also has the first angel saying, "Good tidings"
and not the host of angels.

with the hope that it will once again be instantly received and

Let me point out that the shepherds had to go find this child
for themselves. They didn't believe just because angels showed
up. They went to find out to see if the sign given to them
was true. I think perhaps we should be wary of "instant
gratification" and of "religious ideas" ideas that make us feel
good just by hearing. There can be the wrong kind of joy as
well as the right. We find out which by "obeying" and "doing"
not by hearing.
Was it sufficient cause for joy when the Pillar of Fire appeared
to Israel, or did they need to follow it through the sea and be
delivered from the Egyptians before they had reason for joy? I
say the latter since that is when they sang for joy. The sequel
is sad however since three days later, they began to murmur. I
would say they failed to keep the things they had seen and
failed to ponder them in their hearts. The message didn't take.
We must be like Mary, treasuring in our hearts the things we
have been told and shown.
Luke 2:19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in
her heart.
I say we don't have the real Gospel until it's written on our
hearts and souls and we act on them.
Deuteronomy 11:18 Therefore shall ye lay up these my words in
your heart and in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your
hand, that they may be as frontlets between your eyes.
Again I refer to Mary, whose obedience to the word of Heaven is
worth noting. When told about her future child, she agreed to
it, not resisting the word Gabriel spoke. "Behold the handmaid
of the Lord; be it unto me according to thy word."
So Twinc, I ask, if the error is that people have not received
the Gospel or if it failed to take root when planted?
James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of
naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which
is able to save your souls.
22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving
your own selves.
23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is
like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:
