I just read (on the dreaded internet)
“There is no ‘w’ in the Hebrew alphabet. Therefore, while we see
‘www’ at the beginning of all internet website addresses,
Hebrew-language websites begin with three consecutive letters of
the Hebrew letter ‘vav,’ so Hebrew-language website addresses
begin with ‘vvv’ instead of ‘www’. The numeric equivalent of the
letter ‘vav’ in the Hebrew alphabet is 6. Therefore, three
consecutive ‘vav’ letters at the beginning of website addresses
results in a numeric sequence of 666”.
In Revelation 13 we read
"he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and
bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their
foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had
the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
Here is wisdom, let him that hath understanding count the number
of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is
Six hundred threescore and six"
Are we not fast approaching the time when all buying and selling
will be done via the internet?

Do you have a link to the site? I'd like to see how they
explain the part which says 666 is the number of a man.

Numerology is not what I consider to be valid, certainly
interesting, possibly of value, but sooooo easy to misinterpret.
Using numbers and correlating them to prophecy is beyond me
and I am good at math and conceptual ideas. As to the use of
the internet for evil, thats already happening, and I have no
doubt it will be a commonly used tool by satan as time nears the
coming again of Christ in the clouds.

Hi Oneoff , I'm Colin. The Lord gave me some gifts and
because of that I have a Spiritual understanding of just about
all the bible. I do understand what the beast is and the meaning
of the number and mark but this what you are saying or they are
saying on the internet may just have some truth in it. A beast
or the beast is just a man or men without understanding such as
, without the council of the Spirit of God. It says that at the
end times, which I consider as now, the Spirit would be dead to
almost all and even the elete if that were possible. Without the
Spirit alive and councilling as the helper with truth, the
people bare the mark of the beast because of their lack of
understanding of God. Look at the Gospel of John 6 and verse 66
and you will see that that is where the disciples left Jesus and
him alone had the words of the Spirit, So that is where all
became marked except the 12 who remained with Jesus. It is also
like that now and those same teachings are sent out all over the
world and they are of the false prophets and all are receiving
the mark of the beast because or it. But still these people are
not true churches of Christ but even so, now there are some like
myself and John here and others that are receiving the word of
healing . It says all truth would be sent out on the air waves
or something of that sort and from the highest mountain the
secrets would be revealed. The person with the highest
understanding the most elevated understanding of God stands on
the highest mountain and his teachings are revealing the truth
which removes the mark from people and clothes their nakedness.
Makes then right with God and this too from the internet and any
ten of us together bareing witness to the truth are a church of
Christ even if we have no building. So just as from the same
word come life or death it is the same on the internet. We to
are on that internet.
