You may want to collect your own financial records, go over them
again, and if still $1450 short, go to the bank to find out why.
Banks make mistakes all the time, they dont like to admit to
them, but it happens, its happened to me once, and boy did it
irritate me, went from $200 - $300 in the black to over $300 in
the red. To make matters worse, when the bank realized its
error, they said it could happen again, and that they wanted me
to call the company they erroneously sent money to, and ask them
to send it back. Some real anger over that situation for
       several months.

I should have been clearer. My records agree with the banks'.
I had a budget with plans to have a certain amount of money in
the bank accounts and fell short of the budget -- mostly
because of buying a transmission for one car and replacing the
other car. I had some cash on hand but not that much so it
made a big dent in my bank accounts.

Glad to pray God would provide what finances you need in the
       coming year.

^ Thanks for the thought. I had my best day ever at Dominos.
The manager sometimes calls me on Sundays to tell me to come in
       at 5 instead of the scheduled 4.  Today I called him and asked;
and he said to come in as soon as I could. I got there early
and it was busy, and a driver didn't show up. As a rule, we
aren't supposed to take more than two deliveries on a run; but
they were throwing three at me for hours. And they were in town
-- not out in the rural areas. I made $120 in tips and gas
       money.

More good news -- or news that made me happy. Enough people
repaid on their loans at Kiva that I had enough to lend to
someone else. This time it was to a woman in Lebanon; and
although I'm off target with my budget, I transferred $100 from
a bank to PayPal so I can transfer it to Kiva later. I paid
the credit card bills that come due in March except for the one
that comes due around the 22nd; so I'll be okay. So what if
I'm not quite on target with the budget? People are more
       important.
The loan made me wonder how things were going for my friend from
Lebanon. I think he went back to Lebanon, and I don't know how
he's doing. Then I wonder what's going to happen to all the
refugees in Lebanon. There are over a million, I think.
That's way too many for such a small country to handle; and
tensions are flaring. And the government of Lebanon can't even
handle the trash disposal problem that's been dragging on for
       months.

You could always use one of those online locators to see if you
can get a Lebanon address for him.

I just ran his name on google; and it seems a lot of people have
that name. I'm not sure he went back to Lebanon, not really.
I think he did; but I don't even know for sure he left the US.
He just disappeared after an unfortunate court case which he
lost. The convenience store he ran closed, and I lost track of
       him.
Oh, and the loan to the woman in Lebanon didn't get funded. Not
enough people were willing to lend to her, so my money got
returned to me. I lent to a man in Egypt. The man from
Lebanon I knew was a Christian; but he got along with Muslims
and he had a Muslim fellow from Egypt working at the store. I
talked to him only once. He told me was reading the Bible so
he would understand Christians better. It was very interesting
talking to him. I learned a lot about Egypt. He had no problem
with the Copts or any other kind of Christians. We also
discussed job opportunities in Egypt. His sister was a medical
doctor; but she didn't work in Egypt since the pay there was so
little. She got a job somewhere else, I forget where. He also
told me that a lot of jobs in Egypt got filled by foreigners
because hotels and other tourism businesses thought that was
better for business. If they did hire native Egyptians, their
       pay was less.
I could tell both of them loved their native countries and
missed their families. It's tragic, if you ask me, that they
can't live there and still make a good living. So they come to
the US and send money home to their families. When my
Lebanese friend talked about his mother, I know he was always
wondering if she was okay. They would chat on the internet; but
I know I'd worry if I had relatives in Lebanon or Egypt.

Yes, both countries are abound in radicals trying to cause
problems politically, and sometimes govt people respond badly to
it. Sounds a lot like the US. :D
