Lies, Slurs and Innuendos
By: Kerry Date: August 21, 2015, 10:26 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
This is an interesting piece of half-baked rubbish from Jan
Markell of Olive Tree Ministries
HTML http://campaign.r20.constantcontact.com/render?llr=qlskyecab&v=001-QFdcTMJj29OjPo2gRg64aueLG0yrGbl7_cjZRf8x42KBJIs3VH8GzQWzfPAqr5CwHUuTVrZ-k5t2YiyjnZqzD9ae2UPFFi25yXSVkEs_2L4fyTEdROpBw%3D%3D.<br
/> Notice how slyly he starts out, just like the serpent in Eden
.

I am cautious about "pinning the tail" on the Antichrist and the
False Prophet. We cannot know ahead of time who these
personalities are; however, Pope Francis comes close to "filling
the bill" on the False Prophet. Or he may be but a "type" of
that man just like there are many "types" of the Antichrist
throughout history. I think the devil has always had a candidate
for the Antichrist waiting in the wings as he doesn't know when
the final generation is.
The False Prophet is described in Revelation 13:11-15. He is
also referred to as the "second beast" (Revelation 16:13, 19:20,
20:10). Together with the Antichrist and Satan, who empowers
both of them, the False Prophet is the third party in the unholy
trinity.
Jan plows forward:
Pope Francis is revealing himself to be a blatant Marxist.
What rubbish. Francis said, correctly in my view, that Marxism
is a bad imitation of Catholicism.
He has also pulled back from issues Catholics have considered
sacred. He apparently has replaced abortion with social justice
and environmentalism.
I wouldn't say this, not when we know that one of the driving
forces in society that push women to have abortion is poverty.
In Italy, abortions are almost non-existent among Italians; but
they are rather high for migrants who face problems and more
problems and a uncertain future. It is foolish to preach
about abortion if we're unwilling to address the causes.
Most troubling, however, is his call for a "new world order" and
that there be a global constitution, a global court and a
one-world government. Scripture is clear that the Antichrist
will be the head of a one-world government (Revelation 13).
His vision about a "new world order" is Biblical. From
charismanews.com
HTML http://www.charismanews.com/world/50444-pope-francis-calls-for-new-world-order-again:
We have an obligation, says Pope Francis, to take care of those
around us. And to do that, we have to steward our resources. It
should be the new world order.
Francis made the comments during his South America tour,
according to the Associated Press.
"As stewards of these riches which we have received, we have an
obligation toward society as a whole and toward future
generations," he told reporters. "We cannot bequeath this
heritage to them without proper care for the environment,
without a sense of gratuitousness born of our contemplation of
the created world."
As for the antichrist running a world government according to
Revelation 13? The word "antichrist" doesn't appear in chapter
13 or anywhere else for that matter in the book of Revelation.
I'd say someone isn't taking the warning given in Revelation
too carefully:
Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the
words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto
these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are
written in this book:
It amazes me the stuff some people come up with.

Christendom has more than its fair share of Evangelical
Fundamentalists who massage their 'superiority' by casting the
Catholic Church as Revelation's "Mother of Harlots" when, (if
Revelation is to be taken to heart in this way) a more careful
conclusion would be that it is 'Idolatry', in a much wider form
than 'Catholicism', that is "Mother of Harlots".
Jan Markell is but one of those Evangelical Fundamentalists, but
with 'Star of David' Israel stuff for emphasis.
"Jan Markell was saved under Jewish evangelist Hyman
Appleman when she was a child. In Jan’s early ministry years she
was a part of the Messianic movement, worked for pro-Israel
agencies, and for Jewish evangelism ministries."
At least that's how it all seems to me.
Sorry, I hit the wrong button -- I think I got your post
back the way it was supposed to be.
Yes, I think it's about trying to look superior by making
others look inferior. It's more about power, influence and
money than about religion.
