Strange things

Wasnt sure where to put this, so I put it here. The other day,
my wife saw something unusual and had me come to see it. There
were 2 birds in the bird feeder, one adult sparrow, and one
juvenile cow bird. The cow bird was begging for food from the
smaller sparrow and the sparrow was intermittently feeding it
beak to beak when it wasnt feeding itself. My wife went on to
tell me that it was the first time she ever saw this and that
she had heard before the tale of the cow bird. They would
follow the bison herds, and not have enough time to build nests
for eggs and take care of young-ins. So they would lay an egg
in a nest already filled with eggs from another bird and leave.
The mama from that nest would return and not notice the
intruder egg(s) and continue keeping it warm. Then it would
hatch and often the cow bird would push some of its siblings out
of the nest killing them in the fall, but the mama bird would
continue caring for the cow bird until it reached the age of
being able to feed and care for itself. Even as the cow bird
became bigger than the mama, the mama didnt perceive the truth
of her brood. Some deep truths are found in this little story.

Yes! I've heard of that happening, too, but
have never seen it so clearly displayed.
Very interesting, isn't it?
My palamino, Cody, had a cow bird riding on him a few days back.
Shoulda turned and said, "Hey, I ain't a cow!" But since they
catch pesty flies and such, he probably didn't mind. :)

Was thinking about all the analogies that can seen here. God
wasnt able to interact with us fallen humans to the degree He
wanted to, so He planted a seed, an egg, so to speak, with the
children of men, Mary and Joseph. That seed was nourished by
His earthly parents, and despite what they did know about Him
being special, they truly didnt understand the nature of Jesus
and the great difference in Him.
Likewise, the fallen angels, not able to have children of their
own, left their seed with women who could bear that seed, and
help that being grow. Neither the fallen angels nor the women
understood the true nature of those children and what they would
become: attempted destroyers of mankind (humans that desired to
follow God, using the rest as slaves and food).
And even more, how women will bond with a child over time,
overlooking the faults of the child, often no matter how great
those faults, and choosing the welfare of their child over the
lives of others, no matter the situation. Yet God showing true
love, let His child Jesus suffer for the sins of the world,
instead of protecting Him from it, regardless of the cost.
What a vast difference between God's love and man's love.
