       More Josh Duggar News
   DIR By: Kerry

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Good grief, I thought the Joshua Duggar stories were going to
die quietly after a while. Bad enough he molested several girls
-- and we can be asked to excuse it because of youthful
       hormones. Remember that story? Gawker
  HTML http://gawker.com/family-values-activist-josh-duggar-had-a-paid-ashley-ma-1725132091<br
       />summarized it:
In May 2015, Duggar was forced to resign after In Touch Weekly
reported that he had molested five young girls (four of whom
were his own sisters) beginning in 2002. When the accusations
became public, the family went into crisis mode, insisting that
Josh had reformed and that the media covering the claims was
       intent on “exploiting women.”
Now according to the story at Gawker, he's in more hot water.
Hacked records from Ashley Madison, the site set up to help
married folks cheat discretely show he was spending money and
       time there.
Someone using a credit card belonging to a Joshua J. Duggar,
with a billing address that matches the home in Fayetteville,
Arkansas owned by his grandmother Mary—a home that was
consistently shown on their now-cancelled TV show, and in which
Anna Duggar gave birth to her first child—paid a total of
$986.76 for two different monthly Ashley Madison subscriptions
from February of 2013 until May of 2015.
Hmmm. If you want more specific details about what sort of
things he was looking for, check out the Gawker story.
Will his wife buy this story? She wrote on Facebook that he
had confessed things to her before they got married. I wonder if
he told her about the Ashley Madison accounts? From Facebook
  HTML https://www.facebook.com/duggarfamilyofficial/posts/653931128073873:
I can imagine the shock many of you are going through reading
this. I remember feeling that same shock. It was not at the
point of engagement, or after we were married - it was two years
before Josh asked me to marry him. When my family and I first
visited the Duggar Home, Josh shared his past teenage mistakes.
I was surprised at his openness and humility and at the same
time didn't know why he was sharing it. For Josh he wanted not
just me but my parents to know who he really was -- even every
difficult past mistakes. At that point and over the next two
years, Josh shared how the counseling he received changed his
life as he continued to do what he was taught. And when you, our
sweet fans, first met me when Josh asked me to marry him... I
was able to say, "Yes" knowing who Josh really is - someone who
had gone down a wrong path and had humbled himself before God
and those whom he had offended. Someone who had received the
help needed to change the direction of his life and do what is
right. I want to say thank you to those who took time over a
decade ago to help Josh in a time of crisis. Your investment
changed his life from going down the wrong path to doing what is
right. If it weren't for your help I would not be here as his
wife — celebrating 6 1/2 years of marriage to a man who knows
how to be a gentleman and treat a girl right. Thank you to all
of you who tirelessly work with children in crisis, you are
changing lives and I am forever grateful for all of you.

^ Yes, really. And more news from seattlepi
  HTML http://www.seattlepi.com/entertainment/tv/tvguide/article/Family-Research-Council-Condemns-Josh-Duggar-s-6458627.php:
Speaking of the sanctity of marriage, People reports Anna Duggar
-- Josh's wife and the mother of their four children -- is not
going to incur the wrath of God by leaving her molesting,
       cheating spouse.
"Anna will not leave him," the source told People. "As with her
in-laws, she is turning more to her faith than ever. She and
Josh are probably praying around the clock right now, I would
       assume."
The source also suggests Anna will find a way to blame herself
for all of this: "Maybe not publicly, ever, but privately, there
will be some suggestion of whether or not she should have been
more aware of the pressures Josh was under, of the issues he was
facing, and how she could have better counseled him or helped
       him."
She's an enabler. I don't feel sorry for her if that's her
attitude. Maybe if he thought she'd hit him over the head with
an iron skillet, he'd be afraid to do this sort of thing. I
think maybe what he needs is someone who gives him a good wrap
over the head. His parents were also enablers.

Here he is saying people should hold Virginia Attorney General
Mark accountable for not keeping his oath. This was when
Herring declined to defend the Virginia law in court. He
explains so many things so enthusiastically. Can you believe
he could say this sort of thing while breaking his marriage
       vows?

Even more Josh Duggar news. He's checked himself into "a
long-term treatment center" according to E!
  HTML http://www.eonline.com/news/690028/josh-duggar-checks-himself-into-long-term-treatment-center-following-cheating-admission:
       Josh Duggar is getting help.
According to the Duggar family, the 27-year-old father of four
has checked into a long-term treatment center. The Duggars
released another statement on their website regarding their
eldest son following his confession to cheating on wife Anna
Duggar and having a pornography addiction.
"We are so thankful for the outpouring of love, care and prayers
for our family during this most difficult situation with Josh.
As parents we are so deeply grieved by our son's decisions and
actions. His wrong choices have deeply hurt his precious wife
and children and have negatively affected so many others,"
Michelle Duggar and Jim Bob Duggar's statement reads. "He has
also brought great insult to the values and faith we hold dear.
Yesterday Josh checked himself into a long-term treatment
center. For him it will be a long journey toward wholeness and
recovery. We pray that in this he comes to complete repentance
       and sincere change."
It looks like a dodge to me, to get away from the press maybe?
Maybe to get away from his wife?
. . . the Duggars said that they'll continue to help Anna as
       she, too, receives professional help.
"In the meantime, we will be offering our love, care and devoted
support to Anna and our grandchildren as she also receives
counsel and help for her own heart and future," the statement
continued. "During this time we continue to look to God—He is
our rock and comfort. We ask for your continued prayers for our
       entire family."
       Oh right!  Again they're saying they looking to God for answers;
but it seems they have more faith in the "long-term treatment
       center" in fixing Josh.
