A last thought before I'm off to France

The proliferation, and rise and fall, of Christian forums
mirrors that of the various Christian denominations.
They fall due to the folly of their leaders or members, and new
ones add to the proliferation due to the folly of those who
leave to start, or support, new ones.
And it is 'chicken or egg' as to which comes before the other.
Jesus prayed that they might be one, even to the ultimate degree
that He and the Father were, and are, 'one'.
But it was Jesus who, during His earthly ministry, prophesied
that it would not be so. (Matthew 13:1-52)
We are but part of the whole creation that (until the end of
this present age) has to groan and travail in pain, waiting for
the final redemption.
IMO it is not until then that God will wipe away all
disappointment and tears and we will indeed, actually and
finally, "be one, even as are Jesus and His Father".
