I agree James...it does indeed puzzle me why people...especially
people who sign up on a site called RELIGIOUS CONVICTION when
they have nothing to add, nothing to say..and maybe no
convictions either!! ....it is a mystery I have never wrapped
my head around in the eight years that I have been "doing"
Christian Forums. :-\ :P ::) ??? :'( :o
[/quote]I wonder if they're obeying the Golden Rule? Maybe
they want me to stop posting, and so they're doing what they
want me to do.

I was just musing to "the why".
Why when one starts a site do people all sign up as if it is the
best thing since sliced bread?
Why do they continue to come on site and not post once they have
signed up?
Why do they feel that it is not their responsibility to start a
topic only to comment on one that "others" start?
Why do they complain that they are not being fed yet bring no
food to the table?
Why do they (who are spiritual) get the hump and leave
protesting that others are not nice to them?
In short what does the average site christian expect when they
join a forum?

I think most of us can answer each of your questions and get
pretty close to the truth.
Also relative to another oft asked question .....don't you think
that when we consider the full range of the 'Body of Christ' we
should consider that those who bring nothing to the table but
come to pick up for themselves such scraps as fall to the floor
are nevertheless still members of that 'Body'.
Sometimes (but not always) those who strive to 'minister' are so
wrapped up with their ministry that they are not of a fit mind
to receive the ministry of others.
It takes all sorts to make up the 'Body of Christ' and the
scriptures tell us to bestow greater honour on the lesser
vessels.
But I hear what is often said and such PoV's are also from
important parts of the 'Body', so I guess they fall into the
category of "exhorting one
another".
