Islands in the sea
By: Colin Feener Date: June 7, 2015, 10:49 am
---------------------------------------------------------
The world now is as it was in the time of Noah I guess. The
literal and say the letter of the scriptures are all most of
this world does understand when it comes to God's word. The
iniquity of it all has risen but inside the church buildings is
like the earth where seeds of faith are suppose to be planted so
the church is like an Island in that great sea of disbelief.
Like Peter and the disciples , they went fishing as we too can
go fishing for men out there in that sea but thinking on it, the
true church is the people of that church and that part is like
the ship. If Jesus is with is we are sure to have a great catch
and he will calm the storms of discontent for us and hold back
the waves of terror and treachery. Don't you love it? Jesus ,
our Lord, out there with us and I would say, this little forum
is as good a ship as any. We do have some disciples here.
I haven't really done much interpreting lately for us but he
is always there showing me some new and Yup, its me, I love love
and you all know me now. What I have gotten a grasp on now is, I
got over the I in me and coming to loosing the I because it
isn't I at all. Its Jesus and me, just a humble servant, trying
to be more humble.
This the Lord taught me from Revelation. The Lord did hand
over the kingdom to the Harlot and those people until his word
is brought to full manifestation and complete understanding.
Then it has served the Lord well and then the Lord will take
back his kingdom and the new heaven and earth will begin. We few
here are a big part of that and it is eve n here the word is
being fulfiled. We will no longer sink into the sea of iniquity
and stay above as we walk on that sea of glass seeing clear as
crystal. What a wonderful thing the Lord is doing to use here.

I like the idea of islands in the sea. There
truly is so much unrest, discontent, mixed messages, confusion
and even chaos. But an island is a place of rest within the
turbulent sea. We get into a boat and enter the sea, we get
tossed around, battered, and fear sets in-- unless the Lord is
in the boat with us. His perfect love for us casts out fear.
He asks that we walk upon that sea, stay above it. Focused on
Him, the waters will not overcome us.
If you think on the difference between a harlot and a bride, one
sells herself to men, the other remains faithful to the
bridegroom. A harlot has defiled herself, a bride remains pure.

We can mix with various churches and denominations, but even
then, we need to keep our heads above water, always being
faithful to the true head of any church, which is Christ.
What we believe about Jesus defines us. He asks, "Who do you
say I am?" He is so many things: He is the island; He is the
boat; He is the calm; He manifests as brother, teacher,
preacher, friend; He is one with the Father; light in the
darkness; God's word to us; Shepherd; Alpha; Omega. I do
believe He will take back His Kingdom, because He is a mighty
warrior, as well. Though his method of war does not resemble
that of men.
I love your love of Him, Colin.
Humility is good. Because there is One that is worthy.
