Say that again Kerry...not sure I understand it...sorry :)
[/quote]Ha, Helen, I didn't say. But here we are wondering
about what sort of bodies we'll have in Heaven when we have
bodies in dreams -- and I'm guessing what they are is a mystery.
I can say a few things. I think the body I have when "dreaming"
is real. I wasn't all that sure about it until one night I had
a dream I was in Paris. The other people in the dream said the
dream had to end (yes, we knew it was a dream) because the sun
was coming up and they had to get back to their physical bodies.
So that was the end of the dream, and I woke up here in
America. "Was that real," I asked myself. It was easy enough
to go online and find out what time sunrise was in Paris that
day. So the first thing I did was look at my clock to see what
time it was here. When I checked, yes, the sun war rising in
Paris. In that dream, by the way, I could also alter my
appearance. I disguised myself and a woman who came in later
didn't recognize me. Later when she tried to disguise herself,
I knew who she was at once -- and that made her angry. She had
taken the form of a very large cat -- like a tiger -- and jumped
out trying to see if she could scare me. I just laughed because
I knew who it was -- and that annoyed her a little since I had
fooled her but she hadn't fooled me.
I had another dream that took a while to get verified. Years
ago I had a dream about something "nasty" happening in a
building in London that was close enough to the Thames I could
also see the river. I had no idea though if what I had seen
inside the building was right. A few years later, I ran across
a news story about a British firm that was involved in this
kind of nasty activity. The question then was if they had
operations in a building close to the Thames. Yes, they did. I
believe that I was shown it so I could pray about it. Thank
God, it did finally stop.
So was my body in my dream real? I figure it had to be.

Hi D.M. I see no conflict there. As 'we' are firstly spirit,
then soul, then lastly body... the 'we' of our ( sometimes)
dreams are indeed 'real' in my book. I have been places in
dream, and I'm quite sure I was "there" as it were. I wrote
"sometimes" above because I don't believe that all our dreams
are hummm what is the word I am looking for..'real'? That sounds
lame, and is not what I want. I have 'rubbish dreams' and I
have deep meaningful dreams....Spirit dreams and mind sorting
dreams...some have real value, the other is probably good for
our sanity but means nothing much.
Whoops...rambling here!! LOL

I agree that there are "rubbish" dreams. I'd say we can create
our own hells, and some unpleasant dreams show that. Are they
real? I think so, and I'm guessing that the soul that creates
hellish dreams for itself when the physical body sleeps will
probably create hellish states of mind if the physical body is
dead.
The soul that is not devoted and mindful of God is not apt to
think about God after death. That's how I read, "In the grave is
no remembrance of Thee."
Some dreams are just us by ourselves too with us creating the
other players; but others can enter those dreams too, I think.
