       The inportance of our testimony

       Revelation 12:10-11
Then I heard a loud voice in heaven say:
‘Now have come the salvation and the power
and the kingdom of our God,
and the authority of his Messiah.
For the accuser of our brothers and sisters,
who accuses them before our God day and night,
       has been hurled down.
       They triumphed over him
by the blood of the Lamb
       and by the word of their testimony;
I read this today and though I may have read it before what it
says has jumped out at me. The brethren defeated their accuser
[Satan] not just by the power of the blood of the lamb alone but
also with the word of their [our] testimony. So from this it is
important that we regularly share our testimony and not let
       Satan shut us up.

I agree, only the greatest thing we can do as believers, is to
share our faith, be the sower we were meant to be!!!

You don't see much testimony sharing on this sort of forum

Yesterday our visiting preacher was Bernard Thompson and he gave
a great and wonderful testimony which I will share with you all.
He was ministering in India with a group of other Christians and
a large crowd turned up to their meeting. When there was an
invitation to come forward for healing all the group was call
upon to pray for the sick. Bernard came upon a man on his own
lying on his back on the stage, thinking he had been 'slain in
the spirit' he took him by the hand and told him to get up,
which he did. But unbeknown to Bernard this man hadn't been
able to sit up or stand for over ten years and in the
congregation, also un known to Bernard was the man's doctor who
had told friends at the start of the meeting, 'I will only
believe if that man gets ups and walks.' God is awesome and
still the same as he ever was.

Christian forums for the most part are about people looking for
a pedestal to share their faith to those who already have some
form of faith, but is seen as deficient and needing a push in
the direction they take in their own walk. Unless we are
sharing our testimony in our lifestyle with those around us (by
both word and deed), then we are failing as the sower. Often
those who do preach their testimony on a forum are still doing
good, but not as good as doing it everywhere the sower "walks"
       throughout the day.

But as for forum testimonies, I like the personal ones most.
