I don't think England ever colonized Poland or Romania. Nor
did the Scandinavians have colonies where Muslims lived; but
they surely have a lot of Muslims there today. Nor did Germany
colonize Turkey so far as I know; but it's estimated over a
million and a half Turks live there now.
Okay so maybe it's fair France has its Muslims from its colonial
days and the UK has people from Pakistan. Okay.
But I ask what about people who don't want to go somewhere else?
What about people who would like to have their own country back
so they live there, like the people of Diego Garcia? What the
US and the UK did there is horrible.

As for reparations, maybe it's time to talk about why Germany
never paid the reparations owed to Greece. Still hasn't. But
they surely want Greece to pay them back! Germany is getting
out-of-hand, forcing coal mines in Spain to close and then
opening more coal mines in Germany. Who in the EU is going to
tell them to stop this sort of thing? Maybe the Spanish and
Greeks can move to Germany later. Is that a solution?
And who knows about Pakistan? Did the UK do much to build up
its infrastructure so there would be jobs there? Maybe a lot of
Pakistanis in the UK now would really prefer to live back in
Pakistan? But the British Commonwealth itself seems to be
coming undone. Now the Chinese are moving in. China is going
to "invest" $46 billion there.

Call it what you want, but I think it's a new form of
colonialism. The Chinese will get Pakistan's copper and they'll
also have better access to the Indian ocean. I may be cynical
but I don't see Pakistanis benefiting from the Chinese anymore
than they did from the British.

Now some people are saying the Scottish National Party may take
up to 50 of the 59 Scottish seats in Parliament. They could
decide who the next Prime Minister will be. How ironic to have
a party which doesn't even want to be part of the UK in a
position to make decisions that affect everyone else.

Alas, I got a message saying I can't get it -- it's for people
in the UK only. I checked You Tube; and I didn't find it there.
