       Am I dreaming?

Oh........My.........God!! I just googled reelcrazy to get some
info of my all time fave fruit machine, and I discovered this
website. I can't believe that there is a fully working
ReelCrazy fruit machine that is not just working but also
available for public playing in a high street arcade. Mr P, you
deserve a medal, not just for maintaining these machines but for
creating an amusement timewarp to go back in time to.
It's in my head to visit sometime, it's a long way, but this
will be a dream come true to play this machine again. I've been
looking to see if there have been any for sale for years, with
no luck, and all I've been able to do is watch youtube clips.
Anyway great to see some old time faves, used to love Frogger
as well, but don't think you have that. JPM were mint. Todays
machines are just too complicated and NO fun.
Hope to visit in a few weeks ;D

Hi Crazystreak! WELCOME to the forum!
Reel Crazy is one of my favourite machines as a boy. I used to
regularly risk my adscene paper round money in them! LOL!
My record nudge bank is 55 nudges and the highest crazy streak I
have ever seen was £23.80. This was not me! My best was around
       £14.
The arcades best so far is around £15, however I do believe it
will be beaten soon. Sadly we do not have the photo of that one,
only a £10.40 so we have that as the 'official' best.
We are very passionate about what we do, Amelia (Mrs P) is nuts
about them too, which is fortunate as I would be screwed
       otherwise!
What is your BEST crazy streak of all time out of interest?
       Dave

       Hi Mr P (Dave)
I remember getting over £9 once and feeling as though I'd won
the lottery (although there wasn't one back then). It was the
only machine in my arcade that you could win BIG money on,
although it did seem to swallow money in order to pay it out.
I used to love banking the nudges then seeing it light up extra
nudges and zooming to +10 which virtually guaranteed a jackpot.
The machine I played wasn't the deluxe one, it had a £3 jackpot.
I also loved the Pac Man and Frogger machines, and still have
the gameplay music in my head.
One of your members has given me a link to a reelcrazy emulator
       which I might download sometime.
       See you soon.

Dave. Are you open on Friday 20th July. I'm just looking at
suitable days to come down but apparently the olympic torch is
going through gravesend that day, so thought you might have to
       close.

^ Have you not played any of the emulated fruit machines via the
MFME? Obviously its never going to be the same as playing the
real thing in the flesh but emualtion is the next best thing and
they are emulated with extremely high acuracy as they use the
actual game roms from the original machines... If you like
that particular era of machines from the early 80's then you
really wll be spoilt for choice in the emualors.
...But if its the 100% real buzz you require then it has to be a
trip to Mr P's. I still haven't been but just seeing the
machines he has, you just know you will be in there all day
long... and will lose hardly anything compared to the modern
       arcades.
       J
