Hello!

Hi There,
I own a couple of old fruit machines. one is a 1993 JPM system 5
'Casablanca' the other is a 1980s Bell 'pick of the pack' which
I am told is a scorpion 1. Both I have owned for about 14 years
but unfortunately after several years of neglect stuck right at
the back of my garage neither want to work any more! :-(

Hi Ben, A warm welcome to the forum.
A couple of old machines you own which I have never heard of, do

Hello! welcome, that machine, pick of the pack! I had the same
machine, sold it in 1997/8 just before i took over an arcade.
When you win loads of ££££, makes a hell of a thuddering! 2
pound coin tubes paying out lol!

HUGE welcome buddy!
They look like a nice pair of machines! System 5 I can help you
with and as the other one is Scorpion technology I can also help
you with that too!
I am mobile at the moment so will PM you when I get in later.

Welcome abaord mate.
A couple of very nice machines there.
Fortunately, it takes an awful lot to kill a machine off
completely.
All you'll need is a little patience.
Is your garage cold or damp (or both)? If the answer is yes to
either of those, you really need to find them a home in the
warm.
Funnily enough I have a the original literature to your
Casablanca machine - see attached.
Apologies for the slightly poor scan quality - me and the
scanner are having a slight disagreement over who gives the
orders!!
......... (it hasn't seen my club hammer yet!)
:D

To be honest it has been so long since I had that machine
working I'd forgotten how loud it was when it paid out.
Hopefully sometime soon I will find out!

Hi Big Kev,
Yes unfortunately my garage is not the best place to store them,
although is's not so much damp but cold. I think both machines
stopped working about 8 or 9 years ago after spending a couple
of years in my Dad's very cold & damp shed.
Thanks for posting the Casablanca literature, It would be very
interesting to know how many still exist?
