Hi all, I recognise a lot of people here and I dare say a few of
you know me from the MPU Mecca and probably a few other forums.
I have a fairly large collection of fruit machine parts and some
video game spares, just about all of which are for sale. I don't
own any fruit machines any more unfortunately - I just don't
have the space!
I also recently set up a fruit machine auction site, in response
to Ebay's increasingly barmy policies regarding coin-op stuff.
Is it OK to post the link here? I will be adding one in return.

Hi Alex, A warm welcome to the forum.
I know about space issues, I have no space yet own 4 machines
:-s, still not as addicted to buying as badly as some of our
fellow forum members lol.
Feel free to post your links/for sales etc on the For
Sale/Wanted board

Hi Alex and welcome to the forum!! I do reconise your name from
the MPU Mecca, are you a member of Fruit-Emu as well?? I think
that is a great idea what you are doing setting up your own
fruit auction site as ebay keep taking fruits off there site
which I list, but I think I have cracked it!! Where I have been
putting coin mechs removed I have to say they are permenently
removed, crazy but it works!!

Thanks for the warm welcome guys! I am adding this forum to our
links page as I speak.
There are a few ways to get around the Ebay problems as you say,
but they have even removed some listings where it was stated
that the coin mech and hopper were permanently removed!
I was on fruit-emu quite a lot at one time but seldom these
days. A while back an individual on there decided to make life
difficult for me so I didn't bother posting for ages! I really
ought to get back on there a bit more now.

What is it with users giving other users problems on all these
fruit websites?? I have never really had any problems only ultra
minor ones but the user said sorry to me so I was kool with
that, these people who cause these problems must lead a very
boring life if that is how they get there kicks!? Starting on
other internet users online!? lol, I bet if you went up to them
in the real world they would run a mile, well they would from me
coz im a GEEZER init Dave!! lol.

Can you PM me a description in your words and I will add this to
the MAIN SITE.
Would be great to see it take off. A great idea and the future
for machine sales I think. It just needs serious plugging. As we
get around 30,000 visitors per month it may generate some
traffic???
Hopefully anyway. Perhaps members can post on there as well as
the forum. I can then add a link to here and Alex's website from
the main site??

should certainly help get the site some decent traffic! I will
