       Hiya Peeps

       Hello Everyone
I am from the New Forest. I used to play fruities in my youth
back in the 70s 80s 90s I bought my first fruit machine back in
the 90s a Maygay Cluedo Super Sleuth. I sold that and purchased
an old JPM machine Moneybelt. Not my favourite but at least it
was JPM I owned this until 2011ish when I turned it on it went
up in a cloud of smoke and all the loom melted, (it was far more
than a cloud of smoke....never seen so much). I then sent the
remaining serviceable parts to a fellow enthusiast. I really
left the scene in the early 2000s though, rejoining only
       yesterday.

I would love to but since divorce I now live in a small rental
and haven't the room. The older machines are becoming so rare. I
hate the 70 quid jackpot machines. I far prefer the days of 2 or
3 quid jackpots. even the 10 quid jackpot. and the old £30-£100
       club machines.

That looks an awesome machine, pacuk.
I think the 80's JPM's are some great games. I remember playing
a similar machine named money mine (2p play, but there was a 5p
version that went by a different name which I can't recall).
And another with cards in a circle that was a hi-lo -- ace was
both hi and lo. The games were really playable and pretty
simple to understand too. You could have a pop on any of these
having never played them and stand a chance at a game and maybe
even winning a couple of quid. Compare that with Alien.... £80
for a board or win of any kind when dead and probably the same
again before anyone normal could just rock up and have a chance
of anything over a fiver. What's left of fruit machines now are
definitely more about gambling than amusement.
Does anyone know if ReelFruits has any JPM's of this vintage?
Perhaps a mk2 each way nudger? :) Last one of those I played
was on the isle of wight. I'd forgotten that it paid out all in
       10p's :)

Welcome PAC, a nice machine that, I've mentioned before,
probably the only thing missing from reel fruits, is a gud old
Jpm, a eachway nudger, lite a nudge mark 2 would be fine, spent
many 10 ps on these over the years, great fruits.
There was a double deluxe mark 2 there at one point but is in
       store now.
I'm making a crimbo trip to reel fruits in a few weeks, and
looking forward to having a gud classic fruit bash.
