       Science and Technology: Module 2: Energy and change
       Term 3

       Assessment Task Brief:
       Assessment 1: Research (25)
       Date: To be completed in class. You will be required to research
       any one coal powered electricity power station in the country.
       Please have your information with you at school from the 27th of
       August.
       Assessment 2:  Cycle Test (25)
       Date: 8/8 and 13/9
       Assessment 3: Science Reading Laboratory (20)
       Date: To be completed in class
       Assessment 4: Technology Project: Electrical Circuit (20)
       Date: Please have your materials at school by the 20th of
       August.
       You are required to build a simple electrical circuit. You will
       have to build the circuit at school. The circuit will need to
       include a homemade switch, a minimum of one light bulb and
       battery. You may include extras like a small motor if you so
       wish.
       Assessment 5: Work Ethic and Book Mark (10)
       Date: To be completed in class.
       If you are unsure about any of the above assessments, please
       feel free to approach Mr Misplon at any time in order to clarify
       any issues. Support classes are also available to you by
       appointment. Remember that you also have a Face Book site called
       Reddam Misplon, as well as a web site, www.reddammisplon.tk,
       available to you as another means of communication with your
       teacher.
