       Assessment Task Brief:
       Assessment 1: Mini-Oral (25)
       Date: Your oral may be prepared at home. Please have it ready
       from the 7th of May. You may use key cards with KEY WORDS on
       them only. You are either a Loyalist or a Patriot. You have two
       minutes to convince the audience that they must join your cause.
       Assessment 2:  Cycle Test (25)
       Date of CT: Already written
       Assessment 3: Mind Map (20)
       Date: To be completed in class
       Assessment 4: Written Response (20)
       Date:  To be completed in class.
       Assessment 5: Work Ethic and Book Mark (10)
       Date: To be completed in class.
       Vocabulary for assessment:
       (refugees, missionary, boundaries, independent, dispossession,
       democracy, revolution, republic, constitution, colony)
       Social awareness:
       Five questions will be asked weekly on current national and
       international headlines. Pupils are encouraged to watch the head
       line news on Sky News. (Either on the website or channel 402 on
       DSTV. These results will not be for assessment purposes but
       pupils will be able to score tokens)
       If you are unsure about any of the above assessments, please
       feel free to approach Mr Misplon at any time in order to clarify
       any issues. Support classes are also available to you by
       appointment. Remember that you also have a Face Book site called
       Reddam Misplon available to you as another means of
       communication with your teacher.
