A guilt trip is when someone mentions something that makes
someone else think of something that makes them feel bad or
guilty - when this happens, it's called "sending them on a guilt
trip." It can happen by accident or on purpose. Sometimes it can
just be a joke, or sometimes it can be serious. This thread is
mostly just about jokingly sending people on guilt trips. For
example, teasing someone about something they forgot to do.

Trips are good, guilt trips, not so much.
