Chapter 15: Dudley Do-Right
Today was Valentine's Day, also the 1st day of being in the top
5. While Nell was asleep, I prepared a special present for her.
When she was awake, I told her that I had a nice surprise for
her. She looked a little bit excited as I lifted some moss off
of my present. Used, by all types of rocks, I had laid them down
in an order making the words "Happy Valentine's Day!" surrounded
by a heart. There was also my extra Mountie hat on top, 'cause
it was a Mountie heart. "Oh Dudley, it's," Nell started. "It's
beautiful". I felt myself blush and Nell did something she had
never done before. She kissed me. "Happy Valentine's Day!" she
whispered.

I think everyone who ever watched Dudley Do Right was wondering
when he would kiss Nell! I'm happy to see it finally
happen...too bad their romance will end so soon.

Chapter 16: Nell
I woke up to the tap of feet in the cave. Dudley was already
awake...but he didn't have his gun. Gidney was pacing in front
of us, he had Dudley's rifle and his own scrooch gun. Duldley's
usual warm smile was gone. Gidney wasn't smiling either...I'm
guessing he hasn't forgotten how Dudley killed Cloyd. Finally,
Gidney stopped walking. "Why did you do it?" he asked calmly.
"Why did you kill Cloyd?" I opened my mouth to speak but Dudley
was already talking. He told Gidney how we were hunting and we
thought the rustle in the bushes was prey. He told Gidney he was
really, really, really sorry. I closed my eyes and waited for
him to answer. "Oh, I get that. It was an accident. No harm
done"

Hmmm, I think maybe I don't fully understand the Games idea. I
didn't think it would matter why someone killed someone else, or
whether it was an accident--don't they all have to kill each
other off until only one is left? So why would Gidney even ask
why he did it?

Gidney's a nice guy and there can be alliances. However, not all
of the time is there one person left, sometimes, there are 2.

Ah, I did not know that. What would happen if three people
decided that they all wanted to be in alliance, and refused to
kill each other? Could they all win?
