The New Dudley Do-Right Show!
Episode 1: Missing Hat
(Theme Song is played.)
(Title is shown.)
(Episode Title is shown.)
Scene 1:
Narrator: Our villain is looking glum right now.
Homer: You look glum, Snidely.
Snidely Whiplash: I heard the narrator, Homer. I can’t think up
an evil plan.
Homer: Well, put on your thinking cap and figure out one. We
don’t have all episode!
Snidely Whiplash: Thinking cap, cap, hat! That’s it, Homer!
You’ve given me an idea!
Homer: I did?
Snidely Whiplash: Yes, you did Homer. I’m going to steal
Do-Right’s hat.
Homer: But it’s just a hat!
Snidely Whiplash: I know it’s just a hat. But the Mounties have
rules for losing your hat. If you don’t have it you are kicked
out. It’s not the-
Homer: Yes, I know. It’s not the Canadian way.
Snidely Whiplash: Without his hat, Dudley will be out of the
way. And I can pretend to be a Mountie with his hat! I’ll steal
everything!
Homer: Even the world?
Snidely Whiplash: No, not the world, you idiot. And nothing will
stop me!
Scene 2:
Narrator: So Snidely went off to steal Dudley’s hat. Dudley was
at the R.C.M.P. So Snidely took off Dudley’s hat without Dudley
noticing a thing.
(As the Narrator said.)
Dudley Do-Right: Ah, my head feels a little cooler.
Dudley walks into Inspector Fenwick’s office.
Dudley Do-Right: Hello, Nell.
Nell: Hello, Dudley. Oh Dudley, where’s your hat?
Inspector Fenwick: You don’t have your hat Dudley?
Dudley Do-Right: No, I have my hat on right here. Wait! It’s
gone!
Nell: Well, you better find your hat, Dudley. You know the
rules.
Inspector Fenwick: I’m afraid you can’t be a Mountie until you
find your hat, Do-Right. All Mounties must have hats. If you
don’t-
Nell and Inspector Fenwick: It’s not the Canadian way!
Dudley Do-Right: Oh, crumbs.
Narrator: Dudley gave Inspector Fenwick all the Mountie things
he owned. His uniform, gun and horse.
(Dudley gives Fenwick the following things.)
Scene 3:
Narrator: Meanwhile, Snidely was off on a crime spree. Nobody
suspected him because he was wearing the RCMP hat.
Snidely Whiplash: Hand over the money.
Random Person: I trust you since you are part of the Royal
Canadian Mounted Police. It’s not like you’re trying to rob me.
(Snidely took the money and walked outside. He walked to the
next place.)
Snidely Whiplash: I-
Random Person 2: Here!
(Random Person 2 gives Snidely the money. Snidely looks
confused, shrugs and takes it.) (Snidely goes to the next
place.)
Snidely Whiplash: Help! Someone’s on a crime spree!
Random Person 3: Well, money always comes in handy. Take it and
stop the robber.
(Snidely takes the money and runs away.)
Narrator: Meanwhile, Dudley is looking for his hat.
Dudley Do-Right: Yoo hoo, hat! Come here, hat!
(Snidely runs into Dudley.)
Snidely Whiplash: Do-Right!
Dudley Do-Right: Don’t worry, Snidely. I’m not a Mountie right
now. I don’t have my hat.
Snidely Whiplash: Well good luck finding it, ha ha ha!
Dudley Do-Right: By the way, nice hat. Bye. And if you see my
hat, tell me.
Scene 4:
Snidely Whiplash: Homer, I did fabulous.
Homer: Good for you.
Snidely Whiplash: Now, there’s a Halloween costume party at city
hall in 2 hours. They must have gotten a lot of money on snacks.
I’ll go over there and do my thing.
Homer: You do that, Snidely. Oh, and can you do something for
me?
Snidely Whiplash: What’s that?
Homer: Can you buy me a snack?
Scene 5:
Dudley Do-Right: Maybe this costume party will do me good.
Dudley walks into the room closely followed by Snidely Whiplash.
Another Random Person: Would you like a snack, Mountie?
Snidely Whiplash: Yes please.
Another Random Person: It’s for free of course. You are a
Mountie…
Snidely takes the snack.
Snidely Whiplash: Inspector Fenwick told me to come and take the
snack money. It’s important business.
(Another Random Person gives the money to him.)
(Snidely starts to walk out and bangs into a bunch of people
dressed as Mounties.)
Snidely Whiplash: Mounties…everywhere! AH!
Snidely starts to run out with his hat falling off in the
process.
Dudley Do-Right: My hat!
(Dudley starts to pet his hat. Snidely stops realizing Dudley
got his hat back.)
Snidely Whiplash: Curses, foiled again!
Scene 6:
Narrator: So Dudley Do-Right went back to the R.C.M.P. because
he found his hat.
Dudley Do-Right: That’s right, sir. I found my hat so I can be a
Mountie, again!
Inspector Fenwick: Great! But what happened to Snidely?
Dudley Do-Right: I let him get away.
Inspector Fenwick: You let him get away?!
Dudley Do-Right: Well, he took such good care of my hat…
(Inspector Fenwick does a facepalm.)
