Balloonkit intently stared down at the tiny red and
black-spotted lady bug crawling up her little kitten paw. She
purred, lifting her paw close to her face the get a much better
look at it. Suddenly it spread its wings and sped way in the
blink of an eye, causing the female to vigorously shake her head
with surprise. The calico laughed to herself, turning to
Stainedkit. "Hey," she greeted softly.

The sound of her nickname put another smile on her face. "What's
up?" Balloonkit replied, slightly turning up the volume on her
quiet voice.

Balloonkit blinked. She wasn't really one to get into trouble,
but she never thought of herself with a good reputation. "Sure."
She smiled, a mischievous sparkle in her eyes. Who cares what
her mom said? Innocence had now turned into "Juliet," and even
if she was still herself, this would be payback for torturing
her father. Balloonkit had automatically switched from mommy's
girl to daddy's girl in seconds when the event happened. She
still loved her, she was just scared now.
