Dawn looked in shock then her shock changed to happiness as her
fellow MCA had returned. "Gunshot! We've all missed you so
much!" She purred and smiled touching noses with him.

The tom had nodded a greeting to Spotted Path, also a familiar
face. He hadn't noticed the caramel tabby return but at his
voice Gunshot froze. Neptune was dead? He glanced at Night,
silently begging her to tell him it was a joke. The female
confirmed the words and, for Gunshot, it felt that the world had
ended.
He hadn't even told the tom his feelings, still trying to get
over Hysteria. Now he would never have the chance. The news
about Sakura was mildly upsetting and he didn't mind the
demotion, not at the moment. How could he?
Straight face, Gunshot. Slip on a mask. D*mn, it was hard. It
seemed that his world had been slowly falling from the moment he
lost his eye, the only bright spot his job as a mca. Taking a
deep breath, he let his head slip downward, trying to hide the
pain he felt inside.
He ignored Dawn completely, although her action forced his head
up, forced his tears to be seen.

soothe the sad male. Did he have feelings for Neptune?

Was he OK? No. Of course not. How could he be? Focusing on
Saturnpaw through a tear blurred yellow eye, Gunshot shook his
head. What was the use pretending? He wanted to go follow
Neptune into death, take his own life. What was the point of
living in a world of tears and heartache?

He just looked sympathetically ate his past life's crush and,
well, his crush. "I'm sorry..." He whispered, awkwardly taking a
step back.
