like he really was supposed to. He had his eye on some other
wolf, but she got promoted so he had not choice...But he didn't

To be honest, Aqua didn't like the mating system among high
ranks. It was complete bullsh.t. What if a wolf was skilled and
smart enough to become beta but had no intention of finding a
mate? That was her right now. She glanced at her forced mate and
put on a fake smile.

Eris padded over to the hunting group and wagged her tail. "Oh!
Me!" the delta went into a play bow and playfully perked up.

down at the entrance, gazing over the territory with a
