Zero arrived just in time to hear her say he was stupid. That
was the last straw. He was going to punish her. How, he didn't
know yet. But he'd do it now.

into his den, turned around, and sat down, watching her and
waiting for her to walk in.

The female pricked her ears and turned to watch him walk away, a
growl coming out of her half-torn maw. Everything on her face
was half-torn, since half of her face was scratched up or
missing. Reluctantly, she followed the tom and stopped at the
entrance.

out. "You've insulted me one too many times. You deserve to be
