The twins nodded at their leader's instructions and made their
way out of camp side by side, same as ever. From there, they
split to head to the different clans.

After the three cats left, James turned to Laelius and growled,
only now reacting to how Skai left. "Hold me back the next time
that cat wants to annoy me."

Laelius Vasu stared up at the leader with surprise and
excitement. He really tried to keep himself from seeming too
arrogant about it, but he couldn't help but puff up his chest a
little at the sound of his new position. He had earned it and he
was quite proud of it, but doubt helped him stay modest. He
really hoped he wouldn't mess up on his new and big
responsibilities. "Thank you, I'll do my best," the new
assistant replied gratefully with a respectful dip of his sleek,
black-furred skull.

Laelius nodded once towards the leader, hiding his relief with a
focused stare. He was so glad that he wouldn't have to leave
camp, as much as he did want to show off his new title, he
needed a break from being so thoughtful about every little
thing. He felt more relaxed when his idol wasn't around fearing
that he would pounce out of nowhere to criticize him. He seemed
to be doing pretty good with him so far and he didn't want to
blow it.

A faint smirk of amusement slid onto his maw. "I'll try,"
Laelius answered, and afterwards glancing over at the area where
the few adults had disappeared.

James came back, swiftly moving into his camp with a dopey grin,
one he rarely wore. Ah, the young tom was touching the tip of
the iceberg of love, not that he would admit it. He looked
around camp, shook his head, and put on a smug grin instead. As
far as he knew, he had a strong Clan as his ally. Hopefully he
had others. Wandering over to Laelius, he grumbled.
"You didn't burn the place down while I was gone. I'm
impressed."
