Laelius sighed and stretched out his front legs before heading
back towards camp at a relaxed pace. Boy, did he strain himself
a lot on this patrol! The Vampiro was known for speaking out
without thought or hesitation, but James sure did have a way of
making you look dumb if you weren't careful. Laelius wasn't
really used to being cautious with his words, so right now he
just wanted to go home and take a nap, or something.

On the way back Skai cought a vole and two plump mice. She camp
into camp and set them into the fresh-kill pile, bringing few to
the nursery.

( i want to state now, before you read the actual post, that the
two assistants were NOT chosen out of favouritism. The first one
was chosen because the rper had well thought out posts. The
second is because the char has a very interesting personality
and I thought it would be fun to have that cat in charge at
times. Thank you. )
James, once he was inside, yowled to call everyone together. He
curled his tail around his paws and spoke. "I have finally
chosen an assistant. Two, actually. Both were very interesting
cats, and both of which I believe could be great directors. With
the right training from the dipsh.t you all call director." He
motioned to himself. "Anywho, the first cat I chose because of
his well throught out answers. He obviously thought twice about
everything, which is what this group needs. I would like you all
to welcome dipsh.t number one, Laelius. Congrats, kid." He
flicked his ear and moved on.
"Now, this choice was extremely hard to make. First of all, one
of the candidates is yet another male. And some of you should
know I don't take fondly of them. But he is a very hard worker
and I would like him to take up some new sh.tty rank I have made
for him; if he takes it. It is called sword. The sword helps
organize battle patrols with the director and assistant. Would
you take that rank, Blanc?" Again, he didn't bother saying his
first name.
"Finally, the second assistant. She annoyed the sh.t out of me
multiple times today. But, I have to admit, that she did have
some good ideas in that clearly small brain of hers. And I
better not regret giving her this position." James flicked the
tip of his tail. "Skai, you got the part. But only if you can
hold it up and not make sh.tty mistakes. Everyone else who
volunteered, I'm a bit sorry that you didn't get the position.
But there is always another time!"

James glared at the she-cat for a good minute before walking up
to her and attempting to cuff her ear, claws slightly
unsheathed. "Hey, sh.thead! I just gave you the second highest
rank I can and you reply with a dip of your head and you start
eating voles? Don't make me start regretting my choice so soon,
you little f.cker!" He, again, tried to cut the tip of her ear
so make her remember to think about her actions.

Marius nudged his brother at the news. Maybe he hadn't got the
rank he'd wanted but he was rising up the ranks like he wanted.
Marcius on the other hand looked ever so slightly disappointed
that he didn't get assistant. Oh well. He'd get another chance
soon enough. "Sure, James. Thanks."

Adelaide looked around at all the promoted cats, wondering if
that would ever be her. She hadn't been here for very long, but
had quickly learned the ways of the group. Despite that though,
she still hadn't really met anyone yet, but hopefully she could
change that soon, assuming she didn't get in one of her many
moods. Because of this, she wasn't the best at trying to figure
out other from a single look like others. Sighing, she decided
that she should try. However, she sucked at introducing herself,
but there was no better time than the present to learn. Stormy
eyes glancing around, Addie wondered who would be the best cat
to meet first.

But I already hunted and im starving! What else could I do? She
whimpered slightly as her ear tip was cut off and put the vole
where you put unfinished or rotten prey.

James glared at her for another moment before deciding. "Blanc
brothers! I need you two and Skai to come here for a little
meeting." He growled. "Laelius, you come too." He called to the
tom. Though, without waiting for cats to gather, he began.
"Alright, here's the deal. Vampiro is a small loner group. So we
are easy to attack and take over. Not if we have allies, though.
Marcius, I want you going to SpeedClan. Marcus (i think that's
his brothers name /brainfart), I want you to go to
ForgottenClan. Skai, I want you to try with LeafClan, seeing as
SpeedClan and LeafClan are partners. I'll be going to WildClan."
He paused for a second. "Laelius, you're in charge while we're
all gone."
