appearance:
lily has smooth pale skin, dotted with freckles that swarm
across her nose and cheeks, and thin out across the rest of her
face. her brown-streaked orange hair falls to her shoulders, and
two daunting blue eyes peer from between the loose curls that
most of the time cover her face. thin, pale lips are found
plucked at with a blue-veined finger, with short, stumpy
fingernails often pinching at the skin around the knuckles. she
holds a shrivelled, weak kind of look--one that can be quite
fooling, when you look behind the deceiving innocent distant
blue eyes.
personality:
though most may think her frail and withdrawn from the word,
lily is kind of person who doesn't talk, only listens--she is
mentally quite strong, but has her physical flaws. through the
sweet smile and distant eyes often fixed dreamily on one object,
there is a deep curiosity and knowledge. though she might not be
as innocent as she seems, she is not the kind of person to hurt
others, attack them, and certainly not kill them. every year
having the hunger game's drawing is enough to have a nagging
worry tug at the back of her mind--this time not fake to deceive
others--and being picked has certainly made her mind go awry
with negative thoughts.
history:
lily had one other sister--an older sister, now over eighteen
and out of the hunger game's threat zone. when lily was only
eight years old, her sister her sister was chosen to be the
female representative for the hunger games. however, lily's
sister's best friend volunteered. she didn't survive the hunger
games, leaving her sister in a wreck of guilt and grief for
allowing her friend to go towards her doom. her mother and
father were both very sympathetic. if it hadn't been for the
girl that had volunteered to take her sister's place, lily
wouldn't have been as afraid as she is now.

My own characters~
What are you called: Spotteh
Name: Maryum Grey
Age: 16
Gender: Female
District: 7
Appearance: Mary doesn't exactly look feminine. She has rather
broad shoulders for a girl and is pretty tall too. She's
extremely muscular from helping her family with splitting wood
and other odd jobs around the district. She also has some
serious skills with an ax. Her hair is a dry golden hay color
with black edges along her bangs. Her square face is covered
with freckles, though they don't stand out much against her
tanned skin. These freckles are pretty much everywhere. Her eyes
are a little too small for her face and a dark grey color. Thin
lips give her a constant sober look. Not that she looked very
happy anyways. Her ordinarily perfect nose cricks to the side
from it breaking in a fight long ago.
Personality: Maryum isn't the warmest. She's extremely quiet and
doesn't ever say much. She keeps to herself and only bothers
with others when she has too. She's pretty nice though. She's a
good reliable girl who doesn't really want to see any one hurt.
Doesn't mean she doesn't, and hasn't, broken a few bones before.
Though she doesn't talk much, she always gets straight to the
heart of the matter when she does. There's no beating around the
bush with this girl, no sirrie! She has a serious set of pet
peeves though. Mostly that you don't touch her, and you don't
touch her stuff. It won't end well for you. She's actually
pretty smart, despite her hulking figure. Not necessarily in
school, but on the streets. She knows how to read people and
what makes them tick. What they're probably going to do next.
This makes her a fantastic strategist and fighter. Add that to
her size and strength and she's a serious contender.
History(optional but fun to make): Maryum was supposed to be the
perfect child. Sweet, caring, and most importantly beautiful. As
she grew up, her parents figured out she wasn't, and by then,
another had come along. Her little sister was everything her
parents wanted, everything she wasn't. She quickly became a
second class citizen in her own home. She had to do all the
dirty chores by herself and help her father with his work while
her little sister stayed inside and played. She never held it
against her though. She held it against her parents. Her little
sister always looked up to her as a protector, even when her
parents told her how inferior Maryum was. As time wore on, she
closed up. Her grades in school began to fall. She spent much of
her time out on the street. At least there she was treated like
she was worth something. She knew it was just because of her
strength but it was more than she had at home. It came as no
surprise to her when she was picked.

Name: Silver Lavine
Age: 35
Gender: Female
District: Capitol [head game maker]
Appearance: Silver reeks of the Capitol. Though she isn't gaudy
like everyone else. Her skin is well tanned, almost orange but
not quite and painted with dark stripes. Her long black hair
drips down her back like oil, and shines like it too. When
smiles pass along her painted black lips, they look more like a
cheshire's madness rather than a friendly invitation. Long
spinally legs and arms seem even longer when compared to her
compact torso. Black cat claws rest at the end of her piano
player hands. With every step she takes, she oozes a feline
grace. But her most noticeable feature is her large, slanted,
almond shaped eyes. They are a bright piercing green and have a
slitted pupil like a cat's. There is nothing she can't see with
them. And it's even rumored that she can see in the dark with
them.
Personality: Silver is very interesting. On tv, she is a joy to
have. Cheerful, talkative, open, charming. But that would be a
massive lie. In reality she is borderline sadist. Which is why
she's such a good gamemaker. She knows exactly what to do to get
the most out of every game. She's made sure of it. She often
plays coy and messes with the people around her. She'll ask
questions that barb into them, bring up unwanted emotions and
painful thoughts and then keeps going. This is a very bad kitty.
