No. Because roosters are evil mean and we're not really sure if
we want to raise them for meat. My mom has issues with that.

Yup. They are evil though. I've heard several stories of them
chasing younger kids. I don't doubt it either. Chickens are mean
and roosters are worse.

I've held a rooster before. They aren't mean and they certainly
don't attack unless they're threatened or see something shiny.
Chickens will peck at shiny things.

It probably depends on the animal some. But mine are free ranged
and I have watched one of them spot a snake, pick it up, smack
it against the ground several times and eat it before I even
knew what happened. Birds are cruel. That stupid survival cruel.

Well were they caged or free ranged. Cause that makes a
difference.
