The white cat smiled slightly as she was proven right, yet
again. She needed to get back soon since she had her kits, but
her kits weren't nursing anymore, so they didn't need her with
them for now. Freezingheart purred coldly as Hissingfly finally
showed up. The deputy smiled as she suggested to the leader, "I
think we should keep her as a prisoner until you think she's
good enough to join."

voice--unlike everyone else's--wasn't hostile, nor angry.
Instead it was more curious. She had never found a loner, or a
rouge, or whatever this cat was, before. "Yet I still agree that
keeping her prisoner might be a good idea."

Hissingfly looked over Moonlitcity, the tip of his tail
flicking. He liked the idea of her being a prisoner - he could
tease and play with her then. Though, that didn't stop him
before. But the loner seemed strong enough to join. "If she
wants to join, then we give her the chance. Miss," he turned to
the intruder. "You must be able to come as close as you can to
beating Mosaicpaw here. If you win, you get to stay. If you
lose, but she is scarred up and out of breath, then you can
stay, but you'll be cleaning out the medicine den and the
elder's den. If you lose, I will give you two seconds to run and
Freezingheart will chase you down." he flicked his ear,
finishing his monologue.

Freezingheart grinned, hoping the she-cat lost. The deputy
wanted to attack someone. She hadn't had a chance to fight in a
long time, ever since she had been captured as an apprentice
from AshClan. Anyways, she had been working on getting back in
shape and pretty much had. She had practiced fighting, running,
climbing, and swimming every time she had a chance. That way, if
something like this had happened, she wouldn't be slow and out
of practice.

[sub]Mosaicpaw's eyes went wide. "What?" she gasped. "But I've
worked hard to keep the scars hidden!" she sniffed stubbornly,
tilting her head up. With a disgruntled sigh she fixed her eyes
on the she-cat.

Moonlitcity purred and dipped her head. 'As ou wish.' She
pranced up to Mosiacpaw as if this was just a game. And Without
warning, she launched a the apprentice.

[sub]Mosaicpaw, caught off guard, fell backwards. Her eyes lit
up with surprise at the sudden attack. However, not wanting to
look foolish in front of the two DevilClan cats, the apprentice
attempted to duck under Moonlitcity and dig her claws into the
she-cat's soft belly.

The grey she cat snarled and lashed her tail as she was raked
from her belly and jumped to the side, turning around for
another attack.

[sub]Moonlitcity was so much bigger than Mosaicpaw. How would
she ever beat the larger she-cat? She certainly didn't want the
she-cat to join, not when she had to fight her. Mosaicpaw dug
her claws into the air, feeling a slight pause in the whirlwind
of claws and blood. Cold, slate eyes turned on Moonlitcity. The
despair that lingered within her mind was concealed well within
the ferocity burning within her eyes. She lashed out blindly,
hoping to hit the she, her chest sucking in breaths deeply but
slowly.

Ooooh no! Moonie wouldn't let her lash Her again! She dodged and
snarled leaping forward to try to land on top of Mosiacpaw.
