Actually, it's because when I cosplay, I take the time to find
out everything I can about that character and their
relationships. The Disciple is a very underdeveloped character
so I'm making up headcanons about her to turn her into what I
think she's like. Which is a tough little bugger who don't take
crap from no one and is more loyal and generous than anyone you
have ever met.

When Gamzee killed Nepeta, he broke one of her horns. In the
afterlife, when she and Equius met for the first time after
dying, Equius was horrified at the fact that he hadn't been able
to protect her. He looked like he was about to do something
rash, so Nepeta ran and gave him a hug. She grinned up at him
and said, ":33< It's just like yours now" Equius was quiet a
moment before giving her the saddest smile you have ever seen
and said "D--> Yes. It is."

Nepeta is the more unstable troll of her moiraillagence. Not
that anyone would expect that. When Equius isn't around to keep
her in check, she can be a bossy egotistical show off that
challenges Vriska at times. She would do reckless things just
for the fun of it. Her years with Equius however, quelled much
of that. Her pride and bossiness at least. She was still
extremely reckless. After a particuarly bad accident, Equius
forced to to make a deal with her. If she would run her plans by
him for approval, he would protect her however and from whoever
he could. This sealed their moiraillagence as it gave Equius
someone to vent his commands to and kept Nepeta from basically
going and killing herself.

Nepeta used to have long hair but cut it beclaws he liked Terezi
and she has short hair.
