anong the slippery rocks used to train trainees.

"Three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, ten!" she shouted
the last number. "Ready or not, here I come!" she squealed,
scenting the air. He went this way.. she told herself, bounding
towards the scent. She came up to the waterfall, spotting the
body of a cat. But she couldn't tell if it was him or not. The
femme brought herself forward, almost slipping on the rocks. She
backed up quickly, afraid to go forward.

Flickeringstar let his gaze flit over to Innie. Why was she not
bounding to him happily? Why was she afraid of him? Concerned
and worried, he came out of his hiding place. "I-Innocence?
Y-You okay?"

Innie mewed, having to shout because of the roaring water.

He pressed against her, and started to go away from the
waterfall. The rocks became less steep, and he curved around the
sharp rocks to the river. He proceeded to guide her on the
stepping stones to the other side. Then they were at his hiding
spot.

Innocence enjoyed his warmth as he showed her around the stones.
"I like that way much better." she purred, reaching up to lick
his cheek. "You know, Flickeringstar," the femme didn't use her
nickname for him. "you're much nicer then you lead on to be when
Serenity is around." the cinnamon tabby sat down and looked up
at him.

Flicky had prepared to flinch at her lick, but he surprisingly
didn't. And it was odd for the slave not to address him as
'Mister Flicker Sir'. "Yea, well, I need to act tough on Serene.
Don't you go telling her I'm a big softie, ya hear?"

touched, like he did. Innocence pressed her side to his, still
wanting to enjoy his warmth. [b]"Also, would you rather me call
you Mr Flicker Sir, or Flickeringstar? I'm growing up, so I
think it'd be a bit weird for an apprentice aged slave calling
others by nicknames. But most of the toms I give nicknames to
don't mind, so I want to know if it'd change anything before I
start calling them different. If that makes sense."
