Gunshot pawed through the herbs, nervous. Testing? Already? He
had learned a lot but....it had been only a few moons since he
had first entered the medicine den as a healer trainee. Pushing
everything away, the red tabby shuffled his paws, waiting for
Night.

Giving a brief nod, Gunshot turned to the stores. A bleeding
wounds? Cobwebs were obvious, marigold too, to stop infection.
Delicately grabbing the two, he trotted back to Night.

Ouch, must hurt. Gunshot chewed the leaves into a pulp and
plastered it over the cut before covering in with the cobwebs.
It was amazing; just a few moons earlier he would have been
lost.

Gunshot paused to think. "Poppy seeds to dull the pain and
shock. I would try to line it back in place and--" Which herbs?
"Horsetail...and something? Then I'd splint it." Had he
forgotten something? The tom wasn't sure.

"Horsetail treats infections and helps to stop bleeding. It
could help if there was blood leaking from the area of the
broken bone. A better herb would be rush, to hold the bones in
place." she took out the long leaf of a rush bush.
