Danny, eat it for meee?" She looked up at him with her sea-green
eyes and looked like she was begging. "Please?"

"A d-date?" She thought about it. "It's school, your standards
are pretty low. But okay. A date it is." She handed him the
sandwich and smiled shyly, and she rested her hands on her lap.
"Oh, and, uh, this'll be kind of weird, but erm, want to go to
the park AFTER after school? Y'know, to, uh, practice some
more... uh." Melissa wasn't really good at asking people
questions like these. Not that she did it often. But, y'know.
She nervously laughed.
