sofia gulped again and nodded. she slowly followed the male into
his den, careful not to step on anything but the dirt floor
itself. "its n-nice to know." she referred to what he ate. at
least she didn't have to worry about being slaughtered in her
sleep.

[center]Davvie blinked and looked around. Yeah... It wasn't the
tidiest den in the world. "Sorry about the mess." He said
softly, sweeping a pile of blue, brown and black feathers to the
side. "I tend to collect things." He picked up an old silver
chain and hung it on a branch, clearing a space big enough for
the deer to sleep on. "Uh, Here we go. One moment." He darted
out the den and re-appeared a moment later, dropping a large
pile of leaves on the spot. "Here we go, should be comfier."

"oh, i-i didn't mean to make y-you..." she didn't even know
where she was going with it, but hung her head anyways and
watched him clean up. "you c-collect things? what k-kind of
things?" sofia wanted to make up for what she did just a few
moments ago before gently laying down in the bed he made for
her. "th-thanks.."

[center]He gave her a crooked smile; not like creepy crooked,
more like cute childish crooked. The black and white fox shook
his head. "I needed to tidy up anyway." He listened to her
question. "What kinds? Well, anything unusual." He trotted into
a small hollow in the thicket and dragged out several bracelets,
necklaces and such on an old coat. "See? also no problem, It's
not hard to make a bed." he said.[/center]

"i-it is when you c-can barely carry a few leaves i-in your
mouth wi-without eating th-them." sofia joked quietly, looking
at the small trinkets that the fox brought out. "those sure are
b-beautiful, mister. must'ave been a hassle just to f-find one."
the doe murmured, voice still as soft as rabbit's fur.

[center]Davvie listened to her speak calmly, and chucked lightly
at her joke. "I suppose." he replied. "These trinkets did take a
while to find, but I can trade them with others for say food, or
a good location to forage." He placed a paw through a bracelet
and lifted his leg to examine it, using his nose to turn it
over. "This one's my best find so far." Ah, Davvie. He was odd,
admittedly.[/center]

point out the gemstones. "Diamond and sapphire, Doll. Set in
gold." He blinked at her with his coppery eyes and grinned
slightly. "Humans value these stones and stuff for some reason.
If a human values it, you can take it to their house and see if
they take ya in. But I don't fancy having a collar."[/center]

humans? those were the things that took out their shiny objects
and made flashes that almost blinded her. "i-i encountered
humans b-before. i w-would never want to b-be in the same r-room
as them again." she whispered, yawning slightly.

snorted, wrapping up the trinkets and storing them again. He
then heard her yawn and felt a light smile grow on his face.
"You Tired, Doll?" he asked, trotting over.[/center]
