Mokey waved the leader off with his tail before turning to his
medicine cat with a glare. He was a little hurt, considering he
was a twoleg pet at once, still considered one by the family,
and that made him into a street cat. Not like SpeedClan, oh no.
But he did have to cross small streets in order to get home. He
sighed and turned back to Emberstar. "I'm gonna go hunt now,
alright?" He mewed before trotting off.

Emberstar, trying to ignore the childish argument between him
and her medicine cat, nodded a silent goodbye towards the
SpeedClan leader before he left, though he might have missed it.
Before she set her full attention to Fallenfire, her eyes met
Mokey's as he informed her that he would go hunting. "Alright.
I'll catch up to you later," the orange tabby feline meowed back
as he padded away. She had taken him out to train after all, but
she couldn't just leave the border patrol like that. She wanted
to finish checking and marking the borders just in case.
"Fallenfire, SpeedClan is our ally now. I hope you can
understand that we might find their scents around here more
often, much to your dismay. I know I can't change your mind, and
I understand your suspicion," Emberstar explained, as
respectfully as she could. She thought of her medicine cat as a
good friend, and she took her advice seriously, but Emberstar
wanted to give Darestar a chance.

on it they will wish they were never kitted!" She vowed, one of
her random moods setting in.

Emberstar laughed, purring, "Of course." The orange tabby then
turned and followed Mokey's trail, careful not to disturb the
critters around her.

The medicine cat grinned. Only StarClan knew how much she wanted
someone to purr at her for a change. She knew someone would do
it, and surely the leader did!

Millie saw the cat and immediately began to growl, hackles
rising. Her lips curled into a snarl.
Ink scrunched up his nose at the scent of the new cat.
