"Yes, but for now, I want him to go catch something. I'm sure he
won't. His stubby legs won't carry him that far. And Policepaw
knows better to run." She turned her head towards Policepaw and
grinned meanly, unseathing her claws. "Don't you?"

"Yes, master." He meowed before padding away to hunt. The. He
scented it. A juicy blackbird. Mouth watering, he slinked
forward and BAM! The bird was limp in his jaws. Vix was sure to
be proud of him!
"Look what I caught, master! It's almost as big as me!"

thick tree and darted up it, gesturing for her slave to come,
too. "C'mon, let Vixie teach you a lesson 'bout bird huntin'."

Vixendried looked straight ahead at a blue jay on the branch,
and she waited, not moving an inch of herself. She then started
to pad closer to the bird, but the branch was getting thinner as
she moved forward. It was a good thing she was light. But her
d.mn scarf! It trailed after her and made a noise, she just
decided to faintly bend her head and drop the dumb thing to the
ground. She then resumed stalking. Right when she was a good
foot away, Vixie jumped, caught the blue jay, but the branch
broke. She dropped, twisted and leaned till she landed on her
feet, but where she landed on was the scarf. So, right when she
puffed her chest out and walked towards the middle of the tree,
Vixendried's paw got tangled in the scarf and she tripped,
cursing.

Policepaw rushed to her aid, untangling the scarf. "Nice catch,
master!"
